St Joseph's Junior School was built at the end of the
19th century, in the year 1898, as an all age school. There were about twelve classrooms, each holding at least thirty pupils. |

The interior has been totally re-arranged. Gone are the glass partition walls separating numerous small rooms. In their place you will find four large classrooms, an assembly hall and a library. |
| Look around. Any notions of 'old-fashioned' will evaporate. The Georgian windows are double glazed, CCTV cameras for security, intercom controlled entry. There are carpets throughout, interactive whiteboards, computers in every class, breath-taking displays, first-class resources. |
The high standards that are visible are an indicator of the expectations of those who work here and the pupils who learn here.
|
| Outside there is the award winning garden, a place of peace, designed by the Pupil Council. |
